This project explored studio pre-press techniques with each final box to be exclusively made using two spot colours. Baffle was chosen as the brand name, as the meaning of the word revolves around one being bewildered or perplexed - which is a common feeling people get when solving puzzles.

Each box contains small children’s puzzles in three different varieties revolving around themes of fairy tales, zoo and space - as to cater for a wider audience and their interests. Graphics are simple but considered, making them universally legible.

The brandmark combines a puzzle piece with simple facial features - one of note being the question mark mouth, which further highlights the concept of thinking and solving.
